1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Katalyst AI (“the Service”), operated by Clinton AI LTD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Katalyst AI is an AI-powered product photography and listing content platform that transforms product images into marketplace-ready content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate, enhance, and format product images and optimised listing copy for various e-commerce marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy, and more.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to access the Service through a single account unless your plan permits it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload images you do not have rights to use
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights
- Use the Service to create misleading or deceptive product representations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation
- Exceed the rate limits or usage quotas of your plan
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
5. Credit System & Billing
The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each plan includes a monthly allocation of credits. Credits are consumed when images or listings are generated:
- Standard images: 1 credit per image
- Premium 4K images: 3 credits per image
- Listing content: 2 credits per marketplace listing
Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated credit top-up; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
If a generation fails due to a system error, credits are automatically refunded. Refunds for other reasons are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@katalystai.co.uk.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of the images you upload and the images and listing content generated for you through the Service. Katalyst AI does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
The Service itself — including its design, code, AI pipeline, and branding — is the intellectual property of Clinton AI LTD and is protected by applicable UK and international intellectual property laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Katalyst AI is not responsible for any losses resulting from the use of generated images or listing content, including marketplace listing rejections, intellectual property disputes, or business losses.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
